“Colombo Prepares to Host Landmark Conference on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI): Charting a Course Towards Inclusive Development”
In an era characterized by rapid digital transformation, Colombo is poised to host a groundbreaking conference titled “Digital Public Infrastructure: Enable | Empower | Enrich” at the esteemed Grand Marquee, Taj Samudra, on March 26, 2024.
Convened jointly by the High Commission of India in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and the Ministry of Technology, Government of Sri Lanka, this conference aims to serve as a catalyst for reshaping the landscape of digital governance and innovation in the region.
Centered on exploring the transformative capacity of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), the conference endeavours to facilitate seamless service delivery, foster community inclusivity, and drive economic development through innovative means. Drawing inspiration from the G20 New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration, DPI is envisioned as an interconnected suite of digital systems supported by open technologies, aimed at ensuring equitable access to public and private services on a wide scale.
