Mr. Indraka Liyanage inducted as the new President of AAT Sri Lanka

Mr.Indraka Liyanage has been appointed as the 13th President of AAT Sri Lanka for 2024-2025.

The official ceremony held at Hotel Galadari on 25th March 2024, in the distinguished presence of professionals Snr. Prof. P.M.C Thilakerathne, Vice Chancellor of The Open University of Sri Lanka as the Chief Guest and Mr. Chandana Aluthgama, Group CEO of Sri Lankan Insurance Corporation as the Guest of Honour. Mr. Naleen De Silva, Past President of AAT Sri Lanka, Members of the Governing Council, Mr. Tishanga Kumarasinghe, CEO of AAT Sri Lanka, and many well-wishers graced the occasion.

With over 30 years of experience in the banking and financial sector, Liyanage brings a wealth of expertise. He holds numerous prestigious qualifications, including a Commonwealth Executive MBA and a Post Graduate qualification from CA Sri Lanka. Notably, he was recognized as the best Chief Risk Officer in the banking sector in 2019. Liyanage is dedicated to fostering the growth of middle-level accounting professionals and plans to leverage his corporate sector experience to drive the development of AAT Sri Lanka.

His inauguration ceremony, attended by distinguished professionals, marks a new chapter for the organization under his leadership.
