SHERATON COLOMBO HOTEL MIXES SPIRITS BRIGHT!
Sheraton Hotel Colombo recently welcomed the festive season with its annual Christmas cake mixing ceremony, themed ‘Mixing Spirits Bright.’
In keeping with its holiday message and infusing its own unique spin on the traditional ceremony, the hotel’s chef and his team ushered in the Christmas cake ingredients to the lively beat of Calabria, setting a fun and upbeat tone for the evening.
In-house guests, corporate partners, media representatives and content creators participated in the festivities while enjoying yuletide tunes, Christmas themed cookies, moreish canapés and spirited beverages.
General Manager of Sheraton Hotel Colombo Paul Sun addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of meaningful shared traditions, and the property’s commitment to creating welcoming spaces that fostered connections and memorable moments.
The hotel also unveiled its upcoming events, culinary initiatives and entertainment offerings aimed at elevating its guest experience throughout the celebratory season.
The line-up includes the much anticipated Christmas tree lighting ceremony, Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas day lunch and dinner, Boxing Day celebrations, and New Year festivities at the hotel’s main restaurant and rooftop bar. In addition, the Sheraton Hotel Colombo will offer themed high-tea on selected days to cater to local tastes and preferences.
Guests can look forward to exciting new menus, holiday hampers and curated gourmet experiences inspired by global Asian fusion cuisine and year-end traditions.
The Ceylon Bake Shop (CBS) will feature a range of both standard and bespoke Christmas hampers along with popular festive libations such as eggnog and more.
Bayu, the hotel’s panoramic rooftop bar, will be the focus point for key attractions during the coming months including New Year’s Eve with combined access to the main restaurant as well, emphasising a comprehensive celebratory approach covering both dining and entertainment.
