SLT-MOBITEL SHINES FOR PROJECT EXCELLENCE AT NPME AWARDS 2026
10 accolades celebrate innovative projects spanning technology, infrastructure and business operations
In recognition for turning ideas into impactful solutions, delivering tangible benefit, and resolving real-world challenges into results that will shape a smarter, more connected future, SLT-MOBITEL, the National ICT Solutions Provider, received multiple accolades at the National Project Management Excellence Awards 2026 (NPME Awards).
At the recently held ceremony, SLT‑MOBITEL emerged as a leading award winner, receiving accolades from across a wide range of categories including AI, digitisation, infrastructure, and industry sectors, reflecting the breadth of its expertise in project leadership.
SLT-MOBITEL secured the Gold Award for Best Managed Project in ICT Infrastructure for the Construction of the Equipment Building for the SEA‑ME‑WE 6 Cable Landing Station, Browns Hill, Matara.
The company also received four Silver Awards for Best Managed Project in AI & Data Science for KITO AI, Best Managed Project in Process Automation for VisionFlow AI, Best Managed Project in Digitization for Workmate, and Best Innovation of the Year for LankaKonect.
Two Bronze Awards followed for Best Managed Project in Digital Transformation for Blitz AI, and the accolade for Best Project Management Organization was awarded to Sri Lanka Telecom PLC (SLT‑MOBITEL).
SLT-MOBITEL was also recognised with two Merit Awards for Best Managed Project in the Manufacturing Sector for SenseGrid and Best Managed Project in Tourism and Hospitality for SLTravel.
In an individual honour, the Project Manager 2026 award was presented to the General Manager, Facility Management Division.
