COLOMBO, SRI LANKA — Forestkind, a new Sri Lankan skincare, haircare and body care brand created specifically for younger consumers, has officially launched with a range of thirteen products available at Odel outlets nationwide.
The brand enters a market where young people are widely marketed to but rarely formulated for. Products aimed at teenagers and young adults are commonly differentiated by packaging and fragrance rather than by what is inside them, leaving a generation to choose between products designed for older skin and imported alternatives at premium prices.
Forestkind was built to close that gap. Every formula in the range is developed around clinically recognised active ingredients selected for young skin and hair, including hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, salicylic acid and allantoin, alongside plant-derived oils and butters. The range is 100% vegan and cruelty-free.
FORMULATED FOR WHAT YOUNG SKIN AND HAIR ACTUALLY NEEDS
Rather than adapting existing formulations, the range addresses concerns specific to its audience: breakouts on active, sweat-prone skin; scalp health for those washing hair frequently; and daily sun protection in a texture young people will genuinely wear. The brand’s Dew Drop SPF 50 PA+++ was developed to deliver broad-spectrum protection with a dewy finish and no white cast, addressing one of the most common reasons daily sunscreen use is abandoned.

Forestkind was founded by a Sri Lankan entrepreneur who spent fifteen years building brands on the world stage, including roles with Unilever, Kraft Heinz and Samsung.
