BEAUTY BY ROSH SERVES AS OFFICIAL MAKEUP SPONSOR FOR KARLA ŠPETIĆ’S ‘COMPOSE’ RESORT 2027 SHOW AT AUSTRALIAN FASHION WEEK 2026

Australian inclusive beauty brand brings its signature dewy, skin-first aesthetic to one of AFW’s most anticipated runway moments

Beauty by Rosh, the Australian-owned inclusive cosmetics brand founded by Rosh Kumarasinghe, proudly served as the Official Makeup Sponsor for Karla Špetić’s Resort 2027 collection, COMPOSE, presented at Australian Fashion Week 2026, with a front row guest list filled with top editors, industry VIPs, and Australian stars and celebrities.

The show marks the first of two official runway sponsorships for Beauty by Rosh at AFW 2026; with the brand’s second show partnership set to take place this Friday, further cementing its growing presence on the Australian fashion week circuit.

Beauty by Rosh co-partnering with Revlon Professionals as Hair Partner and alongside other partners such as Steve Madden and Weleda for Karla’s AFW runway show.

THE COLLECTION

Karla Špetić’s COMPOSE collection explored the idea of garments as architectural compositions – a meditation on layering, softness, structure and balance.

THE BEAUTY LOOK

In harmony with the collection’s quiet, considered aesthetic, the beauty look directed by Susan Lillian was soft, dewy and skin-first, allowing the garments to breathe and the models’ natural beauty to take centre stage.

The look was built around an effortless, barely-there base using Beauty by Rosh’s Flawless Finish Foundation, chosen for its buildable, skin-like coverage that enhances rather than masks. Lashes were lengthened and defined using the Lash Guru Mascara, while brows were left deliberately undone; natural, feathered and free. A wash of Lilly R Velvet Matte Lip completed each look, adding a touch of quiet colour that sat in perfect balance with the garments.

ROSH AT AFW

Founder Rosh Kumarasinghe was present both backstage and front row for the show, experiencing the collection come to life from every angle, from the energy of the backstage environment to the full runway presentation. Rosh herself made a statement by wearing a saree from a Sri Lankan designer, as she sat in the front row representing South Asian culture and the Sri Lankan heritage she is so proud of. Rosh represents a South Asian presence that is still underrepresented in the Australian fashion industry. This marked the first time a Sri Lankan founder has sponsored a show through their brand at AFW.
