This landmark investment by Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS) strengthens the company’s manufacturing capabilities while setting a new benchmark for texture, structure, and indulgence in the local ice cream category.

Installed at CCS’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at the BOI Zone in Avissawella, the new extrusion line enables precision layering, indulgent cores, rich inclusions, defined shapes, and premium chocolate coatings at scale. The technology unlocks innovative formats including cakes, logs, and frozen sandwiches, delivering a multi-textured, global-standard experience comparable to leading international brands.
