Sysco’s Global Technology Leadership Meets Sri Lanka’s Digital Leaders

[Colombo- September 2025] – Tom Peck, Executive Vice President & Chief Information and Digital Officer at Sysco, recently met with Hon. Eranga Weeraratne, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, and Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya, Chief Advisor to the President on Digital Economy & Chairman of ICTA.

Discussions focused on strengthening public-private collaboration, infrastructure readiness, and Sri Lanka’s digital economy agenda. The Ministry recognized Sysco LABS as the premiere U.S. technology corporate and major export contributor, while Sysco LABS reaffirmed its role as Sri Lanka’s premier IT brand and catalyst for nurturing local tech talent.
