ANKA Technologies Driving STEM, Robotics, and AI Education in Alignment with Government Education Reforms

With AI expected to impact over 60% of current jobs within the next two decades, Sri Lanka needs to integrate STEM, Robotics, and AI into its education system as a timely and essential initiative.

Founded with a mission to inspire the next generation of tech leaders, ANKA Technologies established the “School of Computing” in 2023, dedicated to promoting coding and digital literacy among school children. As part of its outreach, the company launched several impactful initiatives:

• STEM Mondays and STEM Camps in Kandy and Colombo, introducing hands-on STEM experiences to hundreds of students

ANKA Technologies did not stop at just inspiring learners; it launched the STEM.org Certified™ Educational Instructor Certification Program with STEM.org USA to inspire teachers with modern STEM pedagogy and digital tool usage. With the Government making initiatives to incorporate STEM and STEAM into the current educational system, the teachers must be trained and given proper competence related to the dynamic field of STEM.

At present, we are making efforts to deliver programs designed to reach rural schools and underserved communities.
