Q: What is the main challenge facing women who aspire to reach the top in the corporate world?

“In the present context, women aspire to achieve bigger ambitions and dreams. Nevertheless, women remain the heart of functioning households. As such, their children and family commitments may keep them from reaching their potential at times. Having said that, I believe a challenge can be faced with either a positive or negative mind. If a woman wants to achieve something in life, she has to be responsible for it and be her own flag bearer. She needs to be ready to sacrifice many things in life to compete in a male dominated world. When I began my career in real estate – which was always perceived to be a man’s sector – there was nothing to do but try, try and keep trying.
