It is too early to judge their behaviour, performance and the road that lies ahead. A bunch of a mix of good and bad so far can be noticed. All that are with the government in the party are not good since the political culture cannot be transformed overnight. However, the president holds the gavel.
Citizens expect the president to continue in this capacity with this trend institutionalis ing the series of positive changes into the policies and administration of the government. We will keep our fingers crossed and vote wisely at the General Election to appoint the good ones.
They are fairly good, I would say. But we have to wait and watch if these appointments will be reversed when the election is over. If that happens, all of this will be a waste of time. Sri Lanka needs a long lasting policy for these things.
