LANKAPAK 2019 – A HANDS-ON EXHIBITION FOR PACKAGING, PROCESSING, PRINTING AND PLASTIC INDUSTRIES

Lankapak 2019 held its media launch at Hotel Galadari Bougainvillea Ballroom, in readiness to address the Packaging, Processing, Printing and Plastic industries to be held from 11th to 13th September 2019 at the BMICH. The 21st edition of Lankapak is organized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Packaging (SLIP) and its ‘technical arm’, the Packaging Development Centre, supported by Sri Lanka’s premier exhibition organizer, CDC Events and endorsed by the Ministry of Commerce, together with Indian partner Futurex. 

Chief Guest at the launch was Hon. Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Industry & Commerce, Resettlement of Protracted Displaced Persons and Co-operative Development.

The exhibition will be preceded by an International congress on Packaging, Processing, Printing and Plastic on 12th of September 2019 where international speakers and professionals in the industry will speak on the latest trends and overcoming current challenges faced by the industry.

SLIP, established in 1975, is recognized as one of the oldest packaging industry associations in South and South East Asia, having a proven track record of over four decades in promoting and advancing the printing and packaging industry.
