Ayureveda Expo 2015 opens today at BMICH
The 3 Mega day International Indigenous Healthcare Exhibition opens today 3 July 2015 at the BMICH Colombo organised by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka in association with the Ministry of Health & Indigenous Medicine, Ministry of Industry & Commerce Sri Lanka Export Development Board, Board of Investment, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, Dept of Commerce and other Institutions. The exhibition conducted for the 5th time will be held from 3 to 5July 2015 at the BMICH from 9.00 a.m to 9.00 p.m and entrance will be free of charge.
The Exhibition will be ceremonially opened by Dr Rajitha Senarathne, Hon Minister of Health & Indigenous Medicine in the presence of Hon Rishad Bathuideen Minister of Industry & Commerce, other Heads of Government / Private Sector/Diplomatic Missions and other distinguished guests and invitees.
His Excellency the President, Maithripala Sirisena is expected to visit the Exhibition.
Concurrently a Medical Symposium consisting of international speakers will be held on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July 2015 at the BMICH where professionals, academics and researches will speak on Traditional Medicine.
In addition a high powered 39 member delegation from China will attend the Exhibition. The National Chamber has organised a Business Forum for the Chinese delegates to meet their counterparts at a Networking Lunching session starting at 12 noon to 4.30 p.m on 3 July 2015 at the Chamber Auditorium 450 De R Wijewardene Mw, Colombo -10. Business interests of delegates are auto parts & electric cars, Food & Beverage, OPTO Mechatronics , Retail Textiles, Industrial Park, and Service Industry.
The Minister of Industries and Commerce Hon Rishad Bathuideen will grace the Business Forum as the Chief Guest . Additionally Senior Officials from Export Development Board, Board of Investment, Dept of Commerce will speak at the Business Forum.
Ayurveda EXPO 2015 will focus on Manufacturers of Ayurveda/Herbal, Nature friendly Health foods & Beverages, Health resorts/spas, Ayurveda hospitals/Clincs, Educational Institutions, Yoga, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Beauty Care products, Herbal Cosmetic products etc. Foreign delegations/visitors from countries such as India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Japan and China etc.are expected to attend the exhibition.
